The Queen Garnet is a unique variety. This variety has dark flesh typical to Blood Plums, yet has a sweetness comparable to Sugar Plum, and a firmer texture than many other plums. In Australia, Queen Garnets are available in Woolworths and Coles supermarkets and independent fruit and vegetable retailers while in season.

6. What is Queen Garnet Nectar?

Our nectar is made from Queen Garnet plums, with no added sugar, no added colours or flavours, and not from concentrate. We remove the seed then press and bottle the whole plums - wholefruit fibres included! This makes QG Nectar more like a ready-to-drink fruit smoothie, than a typical juice.

There are approximately three Queen Garnet plums per 250ml bottle of nectar.

8. Who owns the Queen Garnet?
