Plum + Apple Crumble

This sweet treat is the perfect dessert, the perfect infusion of apples and Queen Garnet plum nectar.

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Prepare the crumble - combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and butter in a bowl and mix well to combine.
  3. Peel and core apples and dice into small chunks.
  4. Warm an ovenproof pan on the stove over a medium heat and add the diced apple.
  5. Sauté gently then add the plum nectar and allow to cook until the apple is softened and the nectar has reduced slightly.
  6. Arrange crumble on top of apple plum mixture and place in the oven for 20-30 minutes or until golden.
  7. Serve warm with vanilla bean ice cream.
