Silky Queen Garnet plum purée with honey and lemon, bringing bright flavour and vibrant colour to savoury dishes, cheese boards and yoghurt.

Method

  1. Roughly chop the plums and place in a small saucepan with honey and water.
  2. Cook over medium heat for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the plums soften and break down.
  3. Blend with a stick blender or in a blender until smooth.
  4. Stir in lemon juice and a pinch of salt to balance the flavour.
  5. Pass through a fine sieve if a smoother texture is desired.
  6. Chill before serving.
